Wings For The Nations plans to acquire and develop approximately 18 acres for an integrated Model Farm. The farm is intended to produce food, demonstrate best agricultural practices, support vocational learning and contribute to nutrition programmes for vulnerable families and the Wings Rescue Home.
What the Model Farm is designed to do
- Produce crops, vegetables and livestock products for approved programme use.
- Demonstrate integrated crop and livestock farming in a practical setting.
- Provide hands-on agricultural training and vocational learning.
- Show climate-resilient and resource-conscious farming practices.
- Demonstrate renewable-energy use through a planned biogas system.
- Host farmer field days and practical demonstrations.
- Support nutrition seminars with real examples from farm production.
- Contribute to community food rations and food support for the Rescue Home.
Development approach
Development is planned in phases as land, funding, infrastructure, animals, water systems and technical support become available. Confirmed milestones will distinguish operational work from future targets.

Farm safety
Visitors, trainees and volunteers should access livestock, machinery, greenhouses, apiary areas and the biogas system only through controlled, supervised and safety-conscious programme activities.
