Supporting Households, Farmers and Communities
Livelihood & Empowerment is designed to support people and communities who can benefit from stronger food security, practical agricultural knowledge, nutritional education or temporary food assistance.
Marginalised and food-insecure families
Households experiencing serious food insecurity may be considered for community food rations or other approved support according to programme criteria, available resources and assessment of need.
The Wings Rescue Home
The Model Farm is intended to contribute food and nutritional support to the Wings Rescue Home, strengthening the wider organisation's ability to meet basic needs in a sustainable and coordinated way.
Smallholder farmers and community producers
Farmer field days, demonstrations and training can help local producers strengthen practical knowledge in crop production, livestock care, resource management and climate-resilient agriculture.
Women, men and young people seeking practical skills
Vocational training should create fair pathways for women, men and young people to build knowledge that can improve household production, employability, enterprise readiness or participation in agriculture-related livelihoods.
Community groups and institutions
Schools, farmer groups, community organisations, churches, NGOs, training institutions and technical partners may participate in approved learning, field-day, nutrition or partnership activities.
